McKenna and Jackson | Engagement Session, Notre Dame

Engagement

Growing up Jackson and McKenna were always in each other’s lives. Jackson was her brothers best friend. Jackson had thought of McKenna as “Matt’s little sister” but McKenna always had a crush on him. She knew since the 6th grade that she was going to marry Jackson, and she told her mom that too! It wasn’t until college when McKenna invited him to a sorority formal that they both knew it was something much more than a friendship. The hours they would spend talking about their hopes, dreams, the future and faith, solidified that they were exactly what each other was looking for in a spouse.

Jackson knew he was going to ask McKenna to marry him for awhile, but he decided a perfect time would be around Christmas. His family had always gone to the same tree farm to cut their tree and when McKenna and Jackson started dating, she would go with them. On this day, both families were there to cut down their trees and Jackson stopped her from going to look at the bigger trees, got down on one knee and asked her to him. It was exactly 2 years from the day they went to the sorority formal (their first date!). Everyone was overjoyed and so excited to celebrate with them over dinner!

I hope that you enjoy their gorgeous engagement session at Notre Dame – it was a perfect evening. I am so excited to be a part of their day – hurry October!!
