Ali and Jordan | Rainy Fall Wedding Day, Morris Park Country Club | South Bend, Indiana Wedding Photographer

Weddings

Ali and Jordan met in 7th grade! Ali’s best friend and Jordan’s best friend were neighbors who had backyards that met and that’s where Jordan and Ali met and sparked a connection. They went to opposite Catholic schools in South Bend but they kept in contact all the time. While they loved each other, it was hard to make it work throughout College and after but they were in opposite places in the country. They never lost touch completely and five years after college they saw each other again and a friend’s wedding. They chatted all night and finally, the timing was right for them to make their relationship work!

Ali and Jordan both worked often and not always having the same days off. So when Jordan was ready to propose he did so when they both finally had a day off in December before Christmas and planned to spend a day getting some presents and having a date night. Ali had not even the slightest idea he would propose this day because it was just a regular mid-winter Saturday with minimal plans. She had also gotten off work last minute, which later she realized that Jordan made that happen! So Jordan got up at 7 am for a haircut, which honestly should have tipped her off. He went to his aunt and uncles to get the ring which had arrived about 7 hours before. And they went about their day. When it was time to propose it was pouring down rain. Jordan had planned for a photographer to capture the proposal while they were walking on the Louisville bridge. But instead, he walked into their apartment, got down on one knee and asked Ali to marry him in their kitchen. It was a shock! After, they drove to Indy where their families were waiting there for a little dinner party to celebrate them!

And their wedding day was nothing short of a big celebration of happiness for these two who have been in love since the 7th grade. I am so happy to have been a part of their day, it was a perfect mix of classic and fall with her black and white colors with pops of golds and rustic browns mixed in. Though it was raining, we didn’t miss a beat and I couldn’t be more happy to share their day with you!
