Today on my backdated blog I am bringing you Andrea & Patrick’s wedding day.  You all know by now how much I LOVE Chicago.  I think Chicago is the greatest city in the world, the food, the drinks, the sports, the people, the architecture, everything.  So when I get the chance to photograph anyone in Chicago – I am doing it.  Especially a downtown wedding.  The entire labor day weekend was beautiful.  The city was packed, the sun was shining and everyone was happy that it was Andrea and Patrick’s day.  We started at the Raffaello Hotel where both the bridesmaids and groomsmen got ready.  We did their first look right out front of the hotel and then headed to the financial district and the Kinzie St. Bridge for portraits.  Shortly after we headed to Gibson’s where all of their closest family and friends were gathered to celebrate them.  The ceremony was short and sweet and we went directly to their reception.  It was decorated so perfectly, with golds and ivories and LOTS of candles.  It was the perfect location for an intimate gathering.  I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do!!
