I can’t believe that it’s been almost 2 years since I photographed this summer engagement session in Charleston. When Kate and Mike reached out to me to photograph their wedding they mentioned that Mike was stationed in Charleston with the Navy. One thing lead to another and I was flying out to this dream location to capture this time in their lives. And so, we made it through the incredible humidity in July and had a lot of fun exploring and captured some cute photos a long the way. We started on the historic Chalmers Street, made our way to some live moss trees, and then finished at Sullivan’s Island. And I won’t lie, since this session, I have been trying to find a way to go back each and every month. But for now, I will just look back on these photos and dream about living there part time.
