As I am sure you have all heard 1000 times, this pandemic has forced so many people to change their plans. Wedding days have been hugely affected by this and M.J. and Jared were not alone in having to change their dream wedding plans. When M.J. called me to tell me that the wedding would need to be postponed by heart just crushed for her. She knew that she would still do something small and marry Jared on June 6th, but she didn’t know what that would involve and said she probably wouldn’t even wear her wedding dress.. Well, then enters dad! Dad saved the day! He insisted that she still get married in the church, in the dress and like she had envisioned and do a fun family cookout at their home – and that’s what they did! And it was PERFECT!

M.J. and Jared have waited 7 years for this day to come and I am so happy that they didn’t have to wait one more day to marry each other. Love was just celebrated so powerfully on Saturday and I felt so honored to be a part of it. Pastor Sol had both me and my second shooter in tears as we prayed for M.J. and Jared’s future together and LOVE above all just WON on Saturday and it was beautiful to witness. I can’t wait to do this all over again next year when they celebrate at a big reception for their extended family and friends!
