Fran and Matt met while attending Notre Dame in 2018. They built a strong foundation of friendship before taking the plunge and making things official the following year. They both knew from the start that they’d found their forever match, and they spent the next few years solidifying their relationship. Following a post-graduation move across multiple state lines together, Matt popped the question on the National Mall in DC just as the sun was beginning to set. According to Fran, “it was the easiest ‘yes!’”
