Lizzie, David and I spent an evening together last fall for their North Avenue Beach Engagement Session. We were able to incorporate the stunning colors of fall at The Lincoln Park Nature Walk while still getting the gorgeous city skyline. We got so lucky to have some sunshine and a warm breeze blowing on this November afternoon. You never know what you’re going to get in November, but it was absolutely perfect. It made for strolling and chatting all about their wedding plans so enjoyable. I absolutely love how these photos turned out! I know that I always say that, but it’s so true. I am in Chicago often for engagement sessions and I will never get tired of it!
I am looking forward to their August wedding at Notre Dame and St. Joe Farm! I haven’t done at wedding at St. Joe Farm in awhile and it’s always one of my favorite reception venues. It’s going to be the perfect mix of classic and elegant, meets natural and laid back. I can’t wait to celebrate with them in August, but until then, I will just scroll through these photos and remember the beautiful evening we spent strolling the city!
