This past October, I spent some time in Cincinnati, Ohio with Alexandra and Dan. This Smale Riverfront Park Engagement session is one of my favorites! The location was near and dear to their hearts, as Alexandra and Dan knew they wanted to capture their engagement photos in the place they met and fell in love. Unanimously, we decided, what looked more “Cincinnati” than doing their engagement photos on the Ohio River?!

This quickly became an extra special day as it would be one of the last weekends they would be spending in Cincinnati due to a work relocation to Michigan in the coming weeks. It was the perfect send off! First, we started our day by chatting about their May wedding nuptials at St. Pius X and The Palais Royale. Next, was onto my favorite part…how they met and fell in love. Most importantly, Dan’s proposal (which I will save for their wedding blog post!).

The engagement session was a true reflection of the love they have for each other. In just a few hours, a few things became very clear to me about this couple: how much fun they have together, how they laugh together effortlessly, and much they compliment one another. I can’t wait to celebrate with them on their wedding day this May. It’s going to be a true celebration of love!
