Black Tie Wedding in Downtown South Bend

Weddings

Claire and Will celebrated their black tie wedding in downtown South Bend this July. The two of them met while at college through a mutual friend. They didn’t start dating until a year after they were introduced. They dated through college and were long distance for a few years after graduation when Will was stationed in New York for the Army. When 2020 happened, Claire moved out to New York and they were finally able to build their relationship without living long distance. Will proposed to Claire in the fall of 2021 at the lakes at Notre Dame. They were headed to Michigan for a football game the next day and had picked Will’s parents up from the airport. They took a detour to walk around Notre Dame with Claire and Will’s parents. Little did Claire know Will was planning a proposal all along. At the end of the walk, Will got down on one knee in front of the lakes with their parents present. It was so special and the best way to celebrate their engagement!

Their wedding day was full of laughter, sentiment, and pure joy. They said their vows at St. Mary’s Church in Niles, where Claire grew up attending. It’s so special to be able to get married at the church you grew up in, dreaming of your wedding day sitting in the pews. After their gorgeous wedding mass, they danced the night away with family and friends at The Palais Royale in downtown South Bend. It was the perfect mix of elegant and fun, with a timeless and fresh summer feeling. I had such a great day with you Claire and Will and I am so excited to see your life together! Your wedding day was absolutely perfect and I hope you enjoy this preview of your best day ever!
