Catherine and Mark celebrated their colorful spring wedding at Notre Dame, the place where it all started. They met one of the first days of school freshman year at Notre Dame. Both Chemical Engineering majors and were in the Introduction to Engineering course together. They started out as friends and classmates, casually exchanging numbers to coordinate study times. After spending time together Catherine fell for his sense of humor and they were always full of laughter when they were together. By mid November they were officially a couple going on dining hall dates at North Dining Hall and walking campus / “going on adventure” together during late night study breaks.

Their relationship progressed so naturally. They found happiness in the most mundane and tedious parts of life. That’s how they knew a life together is what they wanted. Looking back fondly on all the study sessions and hard exams of college isn’t something many have the honor of doing. But for Catherine and Mark, those one on one study dates, were fun, where their relationship blossomed and where they fell in love with each other.

Their love and softness for each other is evident by spending the shortest amount of time with them. They genuinely have fun together and their wedding day was no different. Catherine and Mark were all smiles, getting reading, during their ceremony and the entire day after. They were having so much fun and it was so special to be a part of. I am so happy for you two, I can’t wait to see where the journey of life takes you and I hope that you continue to have fun in the mundane. If you can do that, you can do anything together!
