Downtown Chicago Engagement Session | Estereo Restaurant
THESE TWO. You guys. When I met with Christine and John on Zoom and saw the way they talked about their wedding, talked to each other, looked at each other, I knew I had to work with them. There are certain things you just can’t explain. You just feel. And even from zoom, you could feel their love. And when I met them in Chicago for their engagement session in December, it was even more apparent that these two truly care for each other, deeply. I LOVE what I do so much. In a world that can seem so harsh, capturing love just makes you feel good. And it gives you hope and not to mention the warm and fuzzies when you leave a wedding day that was packed full of it.
I have said this more times that I can tell you, I LOVE love. And I feel so blessed that I get to call this my job. Capturing couples on their best days, it’s just intoxicating and I don’t think I will ever tire from it. This session was so fun. We did some photos in downtown and then went to the restaurant/bar they had their first date, Estereo. It is a cute little latin bar with no TVs that is known for their knock out cocktails. They play salsa music and allow for great conversation. If you’re in the area, seriously check it out! I am pumped up for their August wedding at Journeyman. It’s going to be filled with love and I will always be here for that!
