Robinette’s Engagement Session, Grand Rapids | Megan and Mitch

Engagement

From the moment I met with Megan and Mitch on Zoom I KNEW that I wanted to work with them. I tend to mesh really well with bride’s who own being just as Type A as I am. I love the organization. I love good communication and I love when my bride’s are just as detail oriented as I am and I got that vibe from Megan from the start. Not to mention, Megan and Mitch are getting married at St. Monica’s Church, where my parents were married 45 years ago. That church will always hold a special place in my heart because of that.

Since Megan and Mitch are in Grand Rapids I decided to take a little drive up there to photograph their engagement session. When we met it felt like we had known each other for a long time and we were just catching up as friends. We started at Provin Trail, which had the most perfect fall color and we ended at Robinette’s Apple Orchard. The light was beautiful, these two are beautiful and it made for some really beautiful photos. We ended chatting more and they sent me home with fresh donuts from the orchard and apple cider (THANK YOU!) You guys don’t have to give me gifts but, just know, I will always accept donuts!

I am SO PUMPED for their wedding in just 3 short months. It is going to be beautiful and it will be great just catching up with them!
