Downtown Chicago Engagement Session | Katy and Alex
Katy and Alex kind of knew each other in high school. They had similar friends but never really talked until they were both at the same bar on the same night, in Chicago. They were both out celebrating, and what are the chances that in all the bars in Chicago they’d both decide to go to the same one? This is what you call fate. So naturally, we had to go to the bar that the spark for each other grew. It was decorated for Halloween, had amazing salsa, and even better margaritas! I can see how they fell in love frequenting Federales. It was a little cold and a little rainy and little dark but we were able to walk around the city and get some beautiful photos in the place they fell in love.
We stopped at Union Station and then my favorite place in Chicago, The Wrigley Building and the Riverwalk. I will truly never get over the gorgeous architecture in Chicago. And these two, if I could capture them every day, I would. They are so natural together. So affectionate, loving and just effortlessly happy. It was an absolute dream, despite the rain, it was A. DREAM. We are all patiently waiting their September wedding day! I can’t wait to celebrate with these two!!
