What happens when to Buckeyes meet in Chicago?? THIS! Lauren and Joel met through a mutual friend. Their friend decided that Lauren had to meet Joel, not only because they were both from Ohio, but because she just knew their personalities would compliment each other well. And was she right! The two met and it was almost instant. They knew they liked each other from the start and their relationship grew strong quickly. They always say, when you know, you know and it was no different for these two.

Lauren contacted me to photograph their Garfield Park Conservatory wedding, we chatted and just clicked. And just over a week later, I went to Chicago to photograph their engagement session! And I am so excited to be working with Lauren and Joel on their wedding day. It is going to be SO much fun. And since they nailed the engagement session – I just CAN’T WAIT for their wedding photos, it’s going to be a blast and Miles and I feel honored to be a part of their big day!

Chicago is always an amazing backdrop of photos, but this day was particularly perfect at The Wrigley Building and at North Avenue Beach. I couldn’t have asked for better lighting, a better couple and a better hour and a half. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do! Can’t wait for May!
