Lindsey and John were the very first couple to book me for the 2023 wedding season. I feel like I have been planning right alongside them for so long! Therefore, in honor of their upcoming wedding in May, I had to share some of my favorite photos from their North Avenue Beach and Grant Park engagement session.
I am probably biased, but I think Chicago’s parks are so gorgeous and rank among the best in the U.S.! Sessions there result in the most beautiful, light and airy photographs. Each park has all you need for an engagement session. From vibrant flower gardens, to historic landmarks, to open green spaces…they have it all. And, how can we forget the Lake Michigan and skyline views!
Now, onto the best part – the engagement session! We started our day at Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park to capture a little garden feeling in an urban setting. After we strolled through the rose gardens in the park, we ventured to North Avenue Beach. It was cloudy at the beachfront, but Lindsey’s champagne dress from Aritzia, popping against the bright blue waters on Lake Michigan, made for some stunning photos.
The evening spent with Lindsey and John was truly magical. I know their wedding at St. Joseph’s Church and Morris Park Country Club in South Bend is going to be one you’ll want to look out for in the coming months on my blog!
