Christ The King South Bend Wedding | Kate and Mark Tuskey

It all started in high school, well kind of. Kate and Mark were friends, just friends, all throughout their high school years, even though they went to rival schools. Kate liked Mark and Mark liked Kate, but both kept it to themselves until years later when Kate had a random dream featuring Mark. She reached out to him and pretty soon they started dating and have been together ever since. One year for their anniversary, they took a trip to Gatlinburg. On their first night in the cabin, they were getting ready to go sit in the hot tub and Kate played “You are the best thing” by Ray Lamontagne on the speaker. Mark said “You really want this to be our song, don’t you?” Kate mentioned that she does because it’s perfect and she always thinks of him when it’s played, but they could find another song if he wanted. Mark used this as an opportunity to pull out the engagement ring and ask her to marry him. She said yes and they spent the rest of their vacation happily engaged!

Planning their wedding, they didn’t care too much about all the details, they just wanted to be married and celebrate it with all their loved ones. Everything came together so beautifully! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Tuskey!
