Amanda and Daniel | Darien, Illinois Wedding
To say that I absolutely loved Amanda and Daniel’s wedding day would be an understatement. They had to change their plans a couple of times but I truly believe that it was the most perfect wedding day you could plan. I have said it a couple times in 2020 but I am a big fan of intimate weddings. I think they are so personal, so sentimental, and so special to the couple and their families. I also love them because at the end of it I truly feel like a part of their family and if you know me, you know I love making connections with not only my couples, but their families as well.
Amanda and Daniel’s day started with getting ready photos at Daniel’s childhood home. We moved to first looks and portraits at a nearby park and then they said I do in the same place his parents were married and where he went to school. It was so perfect. After they were married, everyone went over to his parents home where they had cocktails and toasts on the patio followed by dancing in the family room. It was a perfect family centered wedding day with Amanda and Daniel as the focus. I left that day feeling so incredibly thankful to be a wedding photographer and to be able to capture what really matters on wedding days, love. No matter how big or small the wedding day is, the love that is centered around it is what matters most. And their day reminded me of that.
So excited to see where life takes them through the years and cheer them on each step of the way! It was a beautiful day and I am even more in love with the images today than I was in November (and that is saying something because I was OBSESSED then!)
