You’ve heard the story, you know, the one where your good friend turns out to be your soul mate? That’s where to story of Amanda and Brandon begin. They met through mutual friends and social gatherings 14 years ago. They always talked and always made a point to be at an event if the other were going to be there. They connect over their love of hiking, watching Classic Hollywood movies, reading and just being able to have the best conversations.

It had been awhile that they both knew in their hearts they had feelings for the other. But it took Brandon getting the courage 2 and a half years ago to take the step to ask Amanda on a date. And when he did, she had the courage to say yes. And from there, it all fell into place. Of course the support of their family and friends, who already knew they were meant for each other, sealed the deal. And last October Brandon got down on one knee on a trail in Tennessee and asked Amanda to be his wife forever. She said yes and the planning began!

And Saturday, we all spent the day celebrating a long awaited fairy tale wedding at The Morris Estate and Gillespie Conference Center. Amanda’s vision was to be surrounded by nature and it was BEAUTIFUL. I am so excited to share their wedding day and I hope they are having the best time hiking and camping in Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. They deserve it!
