It feels great to be back at blogging and today I am finally previewing Lindsay and Daniel’s Labor Day Weekend wedding! I traveled to the Chicagoland area to be a part of this day and I was so honored. I photographed Lindsay’s brothers wedding in 2017 – so it’s always great to do family weddings again!

Lindsay and Daniel met on an online dating app (one I have never heard of before!) She messaged him first, and they decided their first date would be at a comedy club. They love to laugh together and have fun, so what a perfect first date! Daniel knew Lindsay was the one and wanted to propose. So he planned a trip to a winery with both of their families. They had some wine and some appetizers and decided it was time to get some photos of everyone on the patio before leaving. Everyone told Lindsay and Daniel to go first, and instead of taking a regular photo – he got down on one and asked her to marry him! She was surprised and so excited!

Fast forward to September 2020, their wedding day! Plans changed slightly, but for the most part everything went off without a hitch and the venue was absolutely beautiful. It was a gorgeous garden setting at an old bed and breakfast. It reminded me of me and Miles’ wedding day in the garden of a bed and breakfast. And just like us, they celebrated with their closest family and friends and it was the most perfect night imaginable! I adore this family and I am so happy to share the photos with you!!
